I've been moving around furniture and styling vignettes since I was losing Barbie shoes in my shag carpet. After years of working in a field that didn’t bring me much joy, I decided to take a leap and do something that just comes naturally to me. When I design a room, I feel energized and totally in my element. Design feels like home.
My mission as a designer is to create thoughtful and inviting spaces that make you feel at home. I’m always on the hunt – in cool new shops, dusty estate sales and online hideaways for great pieces and new ideas so that I can find the perfect way to express your style. I want you to love every space you’re in.
My hands were built to create. Whether decorating, sewing, rehabbing, constructing, drawing or painting, my compulsion is creating. This is what led me to interior design – it’s where I can bring all my ambition and artistry together into one complete trade. Dream come true (sigh).
Paint chips and fabric swatches… I geek out on these. But most of all, I love a good design challenge. Give me an awkward space, lack of storage, I’m all over it! I love transforming these spaces into functional, beautiful, inviting spaces. Design is very personal and that’s what I love about it. Rooms should always reflect the people who live and love in them. And that’s what I’m here to do for you.
